Neubility Accelerates Commercialization of ‘Practical Humanoids’ with Physical AI Technology
Expands Robotics Business by Joining Government-Led ‘K-Humanoid Alliance’
Neubility, a leading intelligent robot service platform company (CEO Sangmin Lee), has been selected as a new key member of the K-Humanoid Alliance, jointly led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT).
With this participation, Neubility plans to leverage its unrivaled Physical AI convergence technology to accelerate the commercialization of practical humanoids that can be deployed directly to real-world industrial sites.
Building on its core strengths in Physical AI, Neubility will join the development of essential technologies for general-purpose humanoids. Drawing from the proven sensor fusion, vision recognition, and path generation capabilities demonstrated by its already-commercialized outdoor autonomous robot Neubie, the company aims to significantly enhance autonomous mobility solutions that allow robots to walk and perceive their surroundings independently. Neubility’s primary goal is to go beyond robots that simply perform repetitive tasks, creating Physical AI-based humanoids capable of making real-time decisions and responding autonomously in complex industrial environments.
In addition, Neubility will combine its AI autonomous driving platform expertise to participate in proof-of-concept development for humanoids that can be immediately applied in industrial settings. The cloud-based remote control, status monitoring, and multi-robot management capabilities currently used in its RaaS (Robotics-as-a-Service) platform for outdoor autonomous robots are expected to naturally extend to real-time operational systems for humanoids. Leveraging its extensive B2B and B2C track record and accumulated experience in autonomous robot delivery, Neubility also aims to accelerate the commercialization of tailored robotic business solutions for various industries.
Sangmin Lee, CEO of Neubility, said, “Joining the K-Humanoid Alliance marks a new starting point for us to take a step forward into the humanoid robotics field, building on the autonomous driving experience and technological capabilities we have accumulated through outdoor delivery and patrol services. Going forward, we will actively lead the exploration of the humanoid robot market with solutions that combine Physical AI and AI-based integration technologies.”
Meanwhile, Neubility is currently in the final stages of its Series B funding round, attracting new investment from multiple firms, including Crit Ventures. The secured capital will be focused on advancing its autonomous driving modules, upgrading its Physical AI technology, and commercializing ‘Neubility Sense.’ In particular, with the launch of the new government in June and the subsequent expansion of large-scale R&D budgets and regulatory support for the “AI 10 Major Projects” and the national robotics industry strategy, as well as the active promotion of robotics and AI applications across industrial and labor sectors, Neubility expects to capitalize on policy benefits and market opportunities to further accelerate the commercialization of industrial humanoid robots and strengthen its technological competitiveness.
