Neubility's Robot 'Neubie' Enters Industrial Sites—Autonomous Delivery Service Deployed

Service Provided to Hyundai Vendis, Deliveries Begin at LG Display Facility

Autonomous robotics company Neubility announced on the 20th that it has been selected as a partner of Hyundai Vendis to supply autonomous delivery services to LG Display’s Paju campus.


Through this collaboration, Neubility plans to expand its service area beyond urban deliveries to industrial sites, accelerating the commercialization of autonomous driving technology.


The newly launched service is integrated with Hyundai Vendis’s mobile meal voucher app "Sikkeun Daejang". When employees place drink orders through the app, Neubility’s autonomous robot “Neubie” delivers the items directly to the entrance of their office buildings. The app’s batch delivery function allows multiple orders to be fulfilled at once, significantly improving operational efficiency.


Neubie operates at a top speed of 7.2 km/h and features a friendly exterior with eye-shaped LED displays on the front to enhance user interaction. It utilizes Neubility’s proprietary technology, relying solely on cameras—without LiDAR—to perceive its surroundings, enabling stable autonomous navigation even in complex environments.


Neubility has already provided urban delivery services in areas such as Songdo, Pangyo, and Gangnam, achieving over 10,000 cumulative deliveries as of 2024.


A Hyundai Vendis representative stated, "In April, we ran a pilot coffee delivery service using robots at LG Display’s Paju site and saw a noticeable improvement in employee satisfaction and work efficiency. Based on those positive results, we decided to implement the service officially."


Sangmin Lee, CEO of Neubility, added, "For autonomous delivery robots to become smarter, experience in various environments is essential. Starting with this partnership with Hyundai Vendis, we aim to expand Neubie’s services to a wide range of settings including hospitals, nursing homes, and schools."
