Neubility, an intelligent robot service platform company led by CEO Sangmin Lee, has partnered with Raion Robotics, a company recognized for its world-class quadruped robot technology, to drive innovation and expansion in the future robotics market.

On the 19th, Neubility announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Raion Robotics to jointly develop next-generation autonomous robot services. Through this partnership, the two companies plan to combine their respective strengths to co-develop and commercialize innovative robot service solutions not only for delivery, but also for patrol, security, defense, and firefighting applications.

Neubility offers accessible robot services based on its camera-based autonomous driving technology and RaaS (Robot-as-a-Service) platform. The company has already demonstrated its technological and commercial viability by launching Korea’s first robot delivery service in collaboration with Yogiyo and commercializing robot patrol services with SK Shieldus.

Raion Robotics is a quadruped robot specialist founded by researchers from KAIST, and it has garnered attention for its quadruped robot "Raibo," which is said to surpass Boston Dynamics' “Spot.” The internally developed Raibo boasts exceptional energy efficiency and durability, capable of completing a full marathon (42.195 km) on a single charge. It is particularly noted for its stable mobility and agility in outdoor and rugged environments.

Under this MOU, Neubility’s autonomous driving solution, Neubility Sense, and its RaaS platform, Neubility Robot Platform, will be integrated with Raion Robotics’ quadruped robot hardware. This collaboration aims to enable precise and safe robotic operations in a variety of environments such as complex urban areas, hazardous industrial sites, public security sectors, defense, and firefighting.

In particular, the combination of Raion Robotics’ advanced quadruped hardware and Neubility’s data-driven autonomous navigation and service platform is expected to give rise to entirely new robotic service models. The two companies aim to shorten robot deployment time and accelerate market adoption.

Neubility CEO Sangmin Lee stated, “Through this partnership with Raion Robotics, the integration of our technological capabilities will further expand the potential of autonomous robot services,” adding, “This collaboration will help accelerate a future where diverse types of robots naturally blend into industrial settings and everyday life.”
